Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime have added Alchemiya to their streaming roster, joining 70 major channels including HBO, Starz and Comedy Central. Alchemiya is a new and exciting premium, online, subscription-based, video-on-demand platform, similar to Netflix. Initial launch is in the US, with Europe and Asia to follow in the next few months.

Alchemiya presents the world’s best content about Muslim life, and concentrates on the positives, showing the contributions of Islam and Muslims. Aimed at young Global Urban Muslims, known as ‘Gummies’, it will tap into the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims whose market is worth $2.1tn (£1.5tn) annually worldwide – and is increasing by $500bn a year. Alchemiya is available as an ‘add-on’ to Amazon Prime’s 49.5 million US subscribers through Amazon Channels. It gives viewers access to the latest content celebrating arts, culture, history, music, fashion, food, and travel from across the Muslim world.

We were commissioned to create title assets for their initial library of films. These included an array of visual assets and banners that would be used within their Amazon Channels infrastructure.

Examples of the variants for the Amazon Prime assets required a range of assets that would work across  a range of mediums and platforms such as PlayStation,  Roku; mobile devices; the Amazon Video App on TVs; Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire tablets and online at Amazon.com/channels. Above are examples for the 'Muslim Traveler's Guide to Granada'.
